The starting point of the discussion in the expert roundtable is the recent publication of „Engineering the Climate“, a monograph by one of our associated research fellows, Julia Schubert (University of Speyer). Julia has been a research associate in the Mercator research project on the Politics and Sociology of Science at the Department of Science Studies at the FIW Bonn from 2014-2020.

Together with the author, the roundtable will feature critical experts on climate engineering, global warming, and the role of science in society. The discussion is open to the public.
