Her lecture about the Global Environmental Conventions in relation with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals was joined by a comment from Jakob Rhyner, Vice-Rector in Europe of the UN University.

The opening event of the new lecture series “Global Solutions for Sustainable Development” with members of the Scientific Advisory Board of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon took place at the Bonner Universitätsforum on April 13th, 2016. The Rector of the University of Bonn, Prof. Michael Hoch, opened the evening and the lecture series. Dorothee Dzwonnek, Secretary General of the German Research Foundation (DGF), introduced the speaker of the evening and SAB member, Prof. Jörg Hinrich Hacker.

Am 11.01.2016 fand die Abschlussveranstaltung unserer "Die Welt im Wandel: Zukunftsstadt"-Reihe statt. Zu unserer Podiumsdiskussion durften wir Anna Wissmann (Ermekeilinitiative e.V.), Gesa Maschkowski (Bonn im Wandel), Dr. Ansgar Klein (BBE) und Sascha Förster (Bonn.digital) begrüßen. Ebenso sind ca. 200 Gäste unserer Einladung zu diesem Abend gefolgt.
