During the summer school hosted by the Department of Science Studies from 10 to 14 September, we would like to invite you to three public lectures.

The department of Science Studies is hosting the international summer school Science and Politics from 10 to 14 September 2018, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. In addition to several workshops and discussions for the participants, there will be three public lectures we would like to cordially invite you to:

All lectures will be held in English.

Following up on James Wilsdon's lecture, the challenges scientific advice is currently facing will be elaborated in a panel discussion (14 September, 11:00 - 12:30). Discussants will be Sibylle Kalmbach (German Academic Scholarship Foundation), Sabine Maasen (MCTS, TU München) and Wolfgang Rohe (Stiftung Mercator).
